Sorry my poor english, i am Italian now living in Ireland. I have started to learn horse riding. My riding teacher told me to wear jeans when i ride she says jeans are comfortable. So I wear tight levis. they are only jeans i have. The next lesson one other learner told me not to wear them he said wear baggy combat trousers. He said they are better for horse riding. I then say my teacher which is best? she then said my tight fitting jeans are better. I feel comfortable in my levis aswell. Should I change and wear combats next time I go riding?
I dont think the horse will worry so wear what you like~~
I’m going quad biking for a hen do next weekend and I’m not sure if I should buy some combat trousers or if tracksuit bottoms will be enough – all the rest of my gear such as a helmet will be provided. I’m just worried that if I came off I would skin my knees. Mud isn’t a worry!
I went quad biking in Egypt and got completely covered in bright red sand, we had to wear bandanas and entirely cover our faces so that it didn’t get in our eyes. I’m guessing sand won’t be a problem for you, but wear long trousers definitely just in case you fall off (they go quite fast and it would be a dangerous fall). Take sun cream too cos you won’t notice if you’re getting burnt. Quad biking is so fun you will love it, but its harder than it looks!!! Enjoy!

I have the essential Ski wear but where and what can I buy for Apres Ski – should I get normal combat trousers? Will these be too thin and cold? I’m not a jeans person….so any idea’s?
